Some members of the audience attacked the writer because of his controversial remarks. After escaping the assault, the writer reflects on his upbringing and how it lead to his present situation. Malcolm X Blvd. discusses such topics as mass shootings, the national anthem protests, "Make America Great Again" and Donald Trump.
